Frequently asked questions

Who is eligible for the NUORA medical weight loss programme?
Adults aged 18 or over with a BMI of 27+ (with weight-related comorbidities) or BMI 30+ may qualify. Every applicant completes a 20-question clinical assessment that a NUORA prescriber reviews within 24 hours.
Do I have to take medication?
Medication is prescribed only when clinically appropriate. Each plan combines nutrition, movement, sleep coaching, and relapse-prevention so you still receive support if prescription therapy is not suitable.
How quickly will I hear from a clinician?
Completed assessments are triaged within 24 hours. If eligible, you receive a personalised plan the same day and can begin treatment with next-day medication delivery where available.
What does the monthly programme fee include?
The monthly fee covers prescription medication (if issued), pharmacist and prescriber reviews, dedicated nutrition and activity coaching, seven-day messaging access, and relapse-prevention planning.
